Onsenmaru (温泉丸 Onsenmaru) is the thirty-sixth chapter of the Kozue Amano manga Amanchu!.
It was originally published in Monthly Comic Blade, and was later republished in Amanchu! Volume 6 on May 10th, 2013.
Summary[]
After a cold dive in the autumn Hikari Kohinata visits Onsenmaru, a hot spring where water flows into two beached boats. She quickly strips off her cold wet suit and slips into the hot spring. After warming herself up water, Hikari spots a bathing suit similar to her own hanging on the laundry line, then suddenly realises it is her own bathing suit, and she'd accidentally taken it off and is sitting in the hot spring topless. The other divers in the group she had dived with enter the other hot spring boat, and Hikari faces the predicament of how she's going to retreive her bikini top without anyone noticing. Ai and Makoto Ninomiya stop by her hot spring on the way past, and Hikari thinks this is her ticket to retreiving her bikini top, but Ai has already passed by and is relaxing in the other hot spring boat.
After being in the hot spring for so long, Hikari starts to overheat and get dizzy. She spots her cellphone near by and grabs it to try and get someone to come help her. First she tries calling Ai, who has just gone to the changing rooms after leaving the hot spring, but she is busy changing and doesn't pick up. Next she tries her grandmother Kino, but she is too busy serving customers at her cafe. She then calls Futaba, who she manages to get through to.
Ai and Makoto leave the changing room, and Ai spots that Hikari is still in the hot spring, hanging over the side and overheated. Ai goes to pull her out, but then realises that Hikari is topless. At that moment, Futaba appears on her scooter, and draws the attention of all the other visitors to the Onsenmaru by teling them that Amanchu-ya has provded some tonjiru. While everyone else is distracted Ai covers up Hikari's chest with some cloth and pulls her out of the hot spring, taking her away from the crowd and giving her a cold drink. Recovering from overheating, Hikari asks if anyone saw, but she assures her that it was all ok because Futaba successfully distracted them all with the soup. Hikari thanks Teko and Ai for helping her.
