Amanchu! (あまんちゅ！) is a manga written and illustrated by Kozue Amano and is published in Monthly Comic Blade. The first chapter was published on November 29th, 2008.
Plot
Amanchu! tells the story of two girls: Futaba Ooki, a shy and introverted girl who just moved to the rural coast from her hometown of Tokyo, and Hikari Kohinata an eccentric and outgoing girl who is passionate about scuba diving. They become fast friends, join their high school's diving club, and discover the secrets of the exciting world at the bottom of the sea.

As of of April 26th, 2018, the series contains 80 chapters which have been published in 12 tankōbon volumes. The tankōbon volumes are published under Monthly Comic Blade's "Blade Comic" imprint by their parent publisher Mag Garden. Chapters in the volumes are re-numbered from their magazine serialization numbers to accommodate additional chapters that are exclusive to the tankōbon volumes.

The manga series has been released officially in French, Italian, Korean, and Chinese. In France, the series is licensed by French publisher Ki-oon. In Italy, the series is licensed by Italian publisher J-Pop. In Taiwan, the series is licensed by Taiwanese publisher Tong Li Comics who release the series in Chinese under the title "藍海少女" (Lánhǎi shàonǚ, lit. Blue Ocean Girl). In Korea, the series is licensed by Korean publisher Booking Comics who release the series in Korean under the title "아만츄!" (Amanchu!).

Oricon Rankings and Copies Sold
Oricon is a Japanese data compiling company which specializes in data relating to the Japanese music/book industry which they release in the form of weekly chart rankings based on number of books sold in that week.
- Amanchu! 8 peaked at 23rd on the chart and had sold 37,195 copies by May 18th, 2014.[57]
- Amanchu! 9 peaked at 8th on the chart and had sold 63,036 copies by February 15th, 2015.[58]
- Amanchu! 10 peaked at 20th on the chart and had sold 29,298 copies by July 17th, 2016. [59]
- Amanchu! 11 peaked at 28th on the chart and had sold 25,244 copies by September 18th, 2016.[60]
